Description:
If the damage to the RTC circuitry precludes fitting a new set of surface mount components this replacement clock module provides a solution. It plugs onto a Risc PC's POST pins for power and earth with the I2C lines connected via flying leads which need to be soldered to two pins on the backplane connector on the underside of the motherboard. Instructions for fitting can be downloaded here.

Saves having to use up a podule slot and requires no backplane to be fitted.

Not suitable for the A7000/+ as the POST header is fitted the other way round!

Suitable cutters to remove the original clock chip are available here.
