Viewfinder seamlessly eliminates the restrictions of the ageing native Risc PC or A7000 video system by successfully exploiting the graphics power offered by contemporary AGP cards.
You're no longer restricted to cramped screen modes when you need higher colour depths like 32K and 16M colours. With ViewFinder you can run a razor sharp 16 million colour desktop all the way up to 2048 x 1536 pixels, at comfortable refresh rates (when, before, you were restricted to 800 x 600 pixels, at a flickery 55-ish Hz).
Also, your new high resolution desktop feels smoother than ever, thanks to hardware acceleration, which improves the performance of most of the major graphics operations by up to a factor of 20.
Viewfinder comes as a standard expansion card suitable for all machines and is compatible with all currently known versions of RISC OS, including the latest versions of RISC OS Ltd's Select.
