Rare three button 9 pin D Type serial mouse. Suitable for many older computers including most Acorn computers. Plugs in to the serial port (9way D-type).
Not quite as smooth a movement as native mice but NEW and a lot cheaper!
When used with a RiscPC a one line configuration needs to be typed to get it working:
*Configure MouseType 1
For A5000, A4000, A3000, A3010, A3020, A4 etc. a driver needs loading. Please ask for a copy by email.
Provided you can get the module on to a disc in the computer the driver can initially be loaded from the command line. Full instructions given! i.e. You don't need a working mouse to get the new mouse to work.
If you have an A3000, you will need to have a serial upgrade fitted.
Probably not suitable for Pre RISC OS 3 computers i.e. Arthur and RISC OS 2
Use on an Archimedes will, because of a "hardware bug", require a patch
lead or box, using a 9 pin "D" type plug and socket with internal links.
