The correct cable configuration for the supplied cables is:
The 15pin HD D-Type monitor connector which has three cables coming out of it plugs into the computer's monitor output and the two short thin PS2 cables coming out of that connector plug into the mouse and keyboard sockets on the computer, the other long cable that has a 15HD D-Type on the end with only the one cable entering it plugs into the KVM
