Brand new A7000 / A7000+ Single podule slot Backplane with integrated RTC (Real Time Clock), allows a standard podule to be fitted into an A7000 or A7000+.
Remote battery version. The battery can be secured with the two supplied cable ties.
Produced by CJE Micro's, closely following Acorn's original design (AMD10) but with an IIC connector and integrated battery backed Real Time Clock (RTC).
*Ideal if your motherboard RTC is not functioning e.g due to battery leakage.
The RTC Chip on the motherboard will need to be disabled before fitting. (Snipping the IIC lines is the easiest way to disable it)
A backplane and podule fit in the same space as a CD ROM drive, so you cannot fit a backplane and a CD ROM drive at the same time. We do however sell a suitable external CD ROM drive!
