Brand new A7000 / A7000+ Single podule slot Backplane, allows a standard podule to be fitted into an A7000 or A7000+.
Produced by CJE Micro's, closely following Acorn's original design (AMD10) but with an IIC connector and an unfitted option for a battery backed Real Time Clock (RTC).
A backplane and podule fit in the same space as a CD ROM drive, so you cannot fit a backplane and a CD ROM drive at the same time. We do however sell a suitable external CD ROM drive!
Easily upgraded to RTC functionality by fitting a PCF8583 chip and battery (available separately). The other required components of crystal, capacitors and resistors are already fitted.
