It can be difficult with Iyonix faults to know which part is faulty so why not hire for two weeks an Iyonix repair kit of: From the symptoms it is normally possible to deduce that Kit 1 or Kit 2 is appropriate. We also offer a full kit, Kit 3 which covers almost all possibilities:
Kit 1 PSU and Graphics or Network cards. (THIS ITEM)
Kit 2 PSU & Hard Drive and cable
Kit 3 PSU, Graphics, Network, USB Cards and RAM, Int. USB cable, Hard Drive and IDE cable)
Then return any or all parts paying only for those you keep.
For an extra £3 we can include both Graphics and network cards.
For another £3 we can also include a USB card, though this is very rarely faulty.
Please advise which type of Iyonix case you have so that we can supply the appropriate parts.
Notes:
Intermittent network problems is often the symptoms for be a dodgy PSU (the network interface is the least tolerant of power problems).
A sudden death network problem tends to the network hardware.
The network interface is on the motherboard, it can be disabled and a special PCI network card fitted. Various settings and additional drivers are required for the interface to work, these will be sent by email or we can supply the software on floppy disc for an additional £5
