Description:
If either the main battery or the backup battery on your Psion are low or flat and the other is o.k. and you change the flat or lowest battery first then your data should be retained. Alternatively if you have a mains PSU then that can be used whilst changing cell/batteries.

n.b. The back up cell is a single unit so should not really be referred to as a battery which means a two or more cells working together.

As this item is a single 'cell' it shouldn't really be referred to as a 'battery' which means two or more cells working in series. The term 'battery', however, is now frequently used when referring to a single cell and some modern dictionaries are now reflecting this.
