The ASRock motherboard is a robust piece of hardware compatible with AMD processors that fit the socket A (462). The ASRock K7S41GX supports DDR type of RAM memory, and up to two memory cards can be inserted into the DIMM slots with the maximum system memory capacity of 2 GB. Mirage graphics are integrated in the micro ATX motherboard with the shared memory maximum of 64 MB; 5.1. surround sound can be used as well. The 802.3u Ethernet LAN type of networking is supported by the ASRock motherboard with the port speed of 10/100. A wide variety of connectors and expansion slots are available for the ASRock K7S41GX, such as keyboard PS/2, mouse PS/2, VGA, USB 2.0, and CPU/chassis fan connectors. Safe overclocking is controlled by the Hybrid Booster found in the micro ATX motherboard. The Hybrid Booster includes CPU multiplier, boot failure guard, CPU frequency stepless control, CPU Vcore adjustment, and ASRock U-COP. Hardware monitoring is also enabled for the ASRock motherboard and this includes CPU fan tachometer, voltage monitoring, chassis fan tachometer, CPU temperature sensing, and motherboard temperature sensing.
