The content of the CD-ROM is divided into three sections: The Home, Generation and Theory. These are fully cross-referenced but can be accessed separately.
In the Theory section the pupil is able to learn through experimentation on the screen. In the Home section pupils can examine the provision and use of electricity in the home using maps, plans and interactive techniques to investigate areas of interest. Generation explores the supply of electricity from a number of fuel sources. The CD-ROM uses animation, video, photographs and text to explain the subject matter and bring it to life. A comprehensive range of tools is available to help pupils find their way around the disc, locate information and save it either on a temporary basis or to other software. An Assessment package is included providing both tutorial and text modes and so enhancing the disc's value as a revision aid.
