Linux Software:
The standard DS1307 RTC driver will work with the module
RISC OS support:
RISC OS support for the RTC is built in.
Software to read from the temperature sensor is available from our website here
NB. This plugs onto "Expansion Connector A", which will need to be fitted to your PandaBoard. If you don't have this fitted, you can purchase a set of pins to solder in here.
Trade and volume enquiries welcome.
More information:
The RTC board has been designed so that as much of the expansion header is available as possible with a mixture of direct accessibility and pass through.
The board plugs into pins 1-6 and 23-28
Pins 7-22 can be accessed by plugging in connectors of the type reset switches normally use.
The pass through/ancillary connector (J3) on our board has:
1 GND
2 SDA (level shifted to 5V)
3 SCL (level shifted to 5V)
4 5V
5 SQW/OUT from clock (DS1338) at 5V level
6 ALERT from temperature sensor (MCP9801) at 5v level
7 Pin 3 (GPMC_AD7/SDMMC2_DAT7) via a 150R/Q1 for possible filing system activity LED (active low)
8 5V for GPIO LED if in use
We have fitted the board inside a Tigal case and being 1.1" high it is no higher than the USB/Network socket so should also fit other cases including Special Computing's acrylic case.
